festivos.io publishes a working-day calendar for Spain —national, regional and local holidays by municipality, together with tax and school calendars— as open data and query services (website, static dataset, API and MCP server). Access and every query endpoint are free and require no sign-up or key; technical anti-abuse limits apply. See the API Terms.
Users undertake to use the site lawfully and not to use it for activities contrary to the law, public order or this notice. In particular, any use that may damage, overload or impair the service, or prevent its normal use by others (e.g. abusive automated requests), is prohibited. The Owner may limit or suspend access in the event of misuse.
The data is offered under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 (CC BY 4.0) license and the code under the MIT license, on the terms set out on the License and use page. Trademarks, the "festivos.io" name and the site's design elements belong to their owners and their use requires authorization. Reused public-sector data keeps its origin under Law 37/2007; see Sources.
Information is provided "as is", without warranty of accuracy, completeness or continuous availability. Holidays and deadlines may be corrected throughout the year. festivos.io does not replace the official sources (BOE, regional gazettes, municipal decrees, AEAT): users must verify the source —linked on each record— before making legal, employment or tax decisions. The Owner is not liable for damages arising from use of the site or for the content of linked third-party sites.
This notice is governed by Spanish law. For any dispute, the parties submit to the courts and tribunals determined by the applicable rules.
